Support the Gaiscioch Social Gaming Community

The Gaiscioch Social Gaming Community began as a hobby and has evolved into 6,000+ member gaming community that has spanned 5 games, developed it's own quarterly magazine, hosts weekly livestreams, and produces engaging content for the gaming industry at large.

For the first 14 years this entire operation was funded entirely by Benjamin "Foghladha" Foley. In 2015 it became apparent as costs rose and many of the things we needed as a community to thrive dangled just out of our reach. After many talks with members and the elders of the community, Benjamin decided to open the idea of fan funding the project and allow people who had been asking to help contribute financially the chance to do so.

All the while keeping this a hobby and not a business. We decided to add a PayPal donate button for those that wish to help contribute. These funds gathered by the community will be used for:

• Website Maintenance Costs: Hosting, Domain Registrations, Etc.
• Promotions: Social Media Integration Tools, Business Cards, Media Kits, Printing Costs, Etc.
• Stock Footage, Music & Art: Royalty Free Video Clips, Templates, Photos, Illustrations, Icons, Music, Etc
• Software: For video production, livestreaming, and graphic design
• Hardware: for Livestreaming & Video Production
• Digital Prizes: for Public Community Events

2024 Goals:

• Hootsuite: $9.99/month ($119.88/year Renewal) Used to syndicate our Magazine & Forums across Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.
• Magazine Printing: $40-60/Per Issue printing each issue of our magazine is expensive. Placing a magazine in developers hands at conferences to look at heightens their interest and gains us access to being able to land interviews we normally would miss. The professionalism in our magazine speaks volumes of our community and this is something we should show off when building people networks. Still need Issues 2-7
• PAX West Preparation: We will need to print 20 media kits for the upcoming PAX West convention to ensure we have enough to get into the hands of key developers. In addition we will need some new promotional cards to pass out to developers, media, and players we interact with.
• New Gaiscioch Patches $100: We pass these out at our real world events to members that attend. We typically need to order a new batch ever couple years.
• Gaiscioch Patches: $199.99 Reorder patches for meetups and conferences.
• Domains Name Registered: $90/yearly Renewed all domains through 2017.
• Issuu Premium: $35/month ($420/year): By upgrading to premium service we can gain additional exposure for our magazine, be able to get more refined metrics, be able have custom branding and do away with the ads.
• Trapcode Particular 2.2: $399.00 (One Time): This software plugin allows AfterEffects to create dynamic particle effects including smoke, fire, sparks, water, snow, and other visual effects.

• Magazine Printing: $55/Per Issue Issue 8 Printed
