Trick Angels.

You cannot change your first MMO, any more than you can change your first kiss or the first time you realized that the song “Do Your Ears Hang Low” is not actually about ears. And speaking personally, I wouldn’t actually want to. But I think it’s fun to look back at my history and decide which game I would like if it had actually been my first game instead. Like, if I could jump on the train earlier or later, what game would I pick to be my first game? What would I replace my formative experiences with?

Obviously, it’s all hypothetical, but sometimes that’s what makes it fun. Imagining how you would regard MMOs in general and your own play preferences in specific differently if you had started somewhere else. So if you could change your first MMO, what would you change it to? Something better? Something worse? Something truly unhinged or bizarre?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
