Invisible, Inc. Slinks Out Of Early Access For Launch Release

by Jeff Cork on May 12, 2015 at 07:00 AM

Klei Entertainment's tactical-stealth game Invisible, Inc. is officially out today, after an Early Access period that began in August 2014. The tactical-stealth game pits you and your crack spy team against corporate security and high-tech defenses.

Invisible, Inc. has drawn comparisons to XCOM, but Invisible, Inc.'s levels are randomly generated – a significant difference. There's also less of a focus on combat, because going on an all-out assault on the game's well-guarded corporations is likely going to end in death. It's easy for even the strongest spies to become overwhelmed, so hacking terminals, stealthily taking down enemies, and slipping past unseen is often the best course of action.

For more information on the game, take a look at our latest preview. The game is out today on PC, and a PlayStation 4 version is in the works.

Our Take
I played the game in Early Access a few months ago, and had a pretty good time with it. Klei has taken player feedback into account and released a steady stream of bug fixes and tweaks. In fact, the latest update was incorporated into the Early Access build a few days ago. I might pop back into it now, to see how the finished form ended up turning out.
