Fondly remembered arcade shooter Mamorukun Curse! will be relieved of its PS3 purgatory in 2025, as City Connection is plotting a PS5 re-release of the cult classic. The game – which first released in arcades and on Xbox 360 before getting an enhanced PlayStation edition over ten years ago – will feature new music from famed composer Yousuke Yasui, as well as all previous DLC included.
While few other details about the re-release have been announced, you can check out some gameplay footage of the PS3 version through here to get a better feel for its overall action. One characteristic that’s somewhat unique to the title is that scrolling movement isn’t forced, so you’re free to potter about the levels as you please.

Excellent news - I'm afraid I don't actually remember the PS3 original, but I will be keen to add this to my PS5 shooter selection when its released!
The gameplay looks fun and the music is good too, there's a lot of slowdown though so maybe they should clean it for ps5 port.
