Hollow Knight: Silksong was announced more than five years ago, and it feels like we're not much closer to the hotly anticipated indie game's release. Fans have been clamouring for something, anything about this side-scrolling Metroidvania action title all these years, and while we've had one or two trailers and some other clues, Team Cherry remains tight lipped about exactly when it'll finally be ready. Our latest hint of movement is a new product page, this time on Xbox's store.
You've been able to wishlist Silksong on PS Store and other digital storefronts for quite some time, but the Xbox store page only went live yesterday, 1st April 2024. The timing made some believe it to be a joke, but it's legitimate. There aren't any new details about the game, save for an ESRB rating of Everyone 10+. However, the page's sudden appearance (and the age rating) have fans hopeful that this is indicative of incoming news about Silksong's release.

To give context for how long this game has been MIA: It was first billed as Switch exclusive. Then it got Game Pass at launch attached to it, so the initial deal obviously ran out.
Now it's going to everything Day One.
When you're exclusivity deals are expiring before your game comes out, it needs to be a damn good game.
If the game got an ESRB rating, it’s got to be close to release with a final build submitted for a rating, right?

Hollow Knight might be one of my favourite experiences on Switch… playing it on the long train ride into work every morning before the sun was up… it all just sort of worked. (And made those journeys fly by).
However long we have to wait for Silksong, I am all in!
One of the most overrated/overhyped games out there. Ori is so much better in every aspect but ok. glad for everyone looking forward to it

I'm still hyped for Silksong, just the same as the day I beat Hollow Knight.

@morogan112 It's releasing simultaneously on all platforms. So clues over on Xbox are also clues for Playstation. So it is Playstation news.
Hollow Knight is one of my favourite metroidvanias, and possibly even sits within my top 10 games, ever. I cannot wait for this.
Hollow Knight was hard as hell and there was much cursing and screaming while playing.
The lack of health bars on bosses is the icing on the cake.
And when they were finally defeated it came with great satisfaction.
