ARK Survival Ascended The Center map dinosaur release date

ARK Survival Ascended is a fantastic remake of ASE. We haven’t received a new map for ASA since launch, but Studio Wildcard will deliver the first new playground of the year soon. Unfortunately, the ARK Survival Ascended The Center map release date has been delayed, but Studio Wildcard is releasing its accompanying dinosaur in just a couple of days.

While you still have time, make sure to enjoy the ASA Love Evolved Valentine’s event before it ends. The event was expanded from ending on February 20th to now ending on February 26th, and it is a fun celebration of all things love and Cupid. Some of the highlights include new Love Bug creatures along with unique event skins that perfectly befit the loveliest time of the year.

Now, once the event ends, fans will swiftly be treated to the release date for The Center map’s dinosaur. Studio Wildcard has confirmed the official launch day, and it is only a couple of days away from arriving. And, when it does arrive, you will be able to either topple the ginormous beastie or run away from it while soiling your britches.

ARK Survival Ascended The Center map release date

The release date for the ARK Survival Ascended The Center map has been delayed. It was originally intended to come out at the end of February as per the official ASA roadmap for 2024/25. However, now it has been delayed with no new timeframe announced by Studio Wildcard.

Per the community crunch 398 blog post, the map has been delayed because ‘it wasn’t on track to launch with the level of quality we require’. Studio Wildcard further explained that ‘Our dedicated partners – who have been working on the Center while we focus on Scorched Earth – need more time to make sure it meets our expectations, and yours’.

There’s no mention of when exactly it will come out, but the blog post does say that the Scorched Earth is still on track for April 1st.

ASA The Center map dinosaur release date

While the ARK Survival Ascended The Center map release date has been delayed, Studio Wildcard is releasing its accompanying dinosaur on February 28th. The new mighty dino is called The Gigantoraptor. This is a ‘feathered behemoth’ with a territorial attitude. You will be able to try to tame it, or you could always tuck your tail between your legs and ‘respect its territorial might’.

A new patch will be released on February 26th to prepare for its arrival. It was originally intended to launch alongside The Center, but right now it is acting as compensation for the map’s delay. Again, there’s no mention of when the map will arrive, but hopefully, it debuts in March.

As for what the new playground will look like when it eventually debuts, Studio Wildcard says ‘The Center is a sprawling, diverse map that will redefine your ARK experience. Lush jungles teem with hidden secrets, treacherous ice peaks pierce the sky, and crystalline caverns beckon with untold treasures.’
