The release date for the Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League video game is January 30th for early access and February 2nd for Standard. It’s been a very long wait for the game to finally arrive as the first trailer debuted in 2020 and there were delays into spring 2023 before ultimately getting delayed to February 2024.

Since its announcement, there has been division online over the live service model and the inclusion of a battle pass. Not only that, but an online connection is also fundamental to playing at all come launch. But, as noted in the official FAQ, the battle pass is simply for skins and cosmetics, meanwhile, an offline mode will arrive for free sometime post-launch.

The release date and time countdown for when the Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League early access will come out is 9 PM PT on January 29th, and 12 AM ET/ 12 AM GMT on January 30th. These are the official launch hours for PS5 and Xbox. As for PC through Steam, early access launches on January 30th at 10 AM PT/ 1 PM ET/ 6 PM GMT.

Do you need PS Plus or Game Pass to play KTJL?

Per the official FAQ, you do not need a PS Plus subscription on PS5 or a Game Pass Core membership on Xbox to play the Suicide Squad game. This is good news that needs reiterating because of the required internet connection at launch even for single-player.

However, while you do not need either membership to play the game alone, you do require the subscriptions to play online. The multiplayer consists of four-player co-op where you and friends get to fill the shoes of Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, King Shark, and Deadshot.
