I need this skin to arrive in Fortnite immediately – and so do the fans

As Fortnite flies past the midpoint of Chapter 5 Season 1, many in the game’s community are looking forward to the next major content drop – and the next one may be one of the most eagerly anticipated yet, if a thread on the Fortnite subreddit is anything to go by.

In a thread entitled “One week until we get this Legend” – SethStar16T joins plenty of others in being unable to hide their excitement for the imminent arrival of Metal Gear Solid hero, Solid Snake – and are hoping he doesn’t come alone. “If we don’t get the ‘hide in a box’ and ‘exclamation alert at least as emotes, we ALL lose.” When it’s pointed out that the box may come as an item (presumably similar to the existing Creepin’ Cardboard item previously seen in Chapter 2 Season 2) the OP concedes: “As long as the exclamation comes with that sound! You know the sound.”

Many are hoping Snake won’t be the only MGS addition when he arrives. “I’m hoping they add some metal gear shop stuff. (Maybe a Snake Eater jam track?)” posits FuriousHunter12, which we can’t help but agree with – what a thrill! “I want a Revolver Ocelot skin” adds traffalgar_law. Meanwhile, thesuavedog has an entire list of additions they’d like to see as part of the Metal Gear Solid Fortnite crossover, including a style variant with an eye patch, a Foxhound logo spray and a “Codec Screen as Back Bling with Roy screaming “SNAAAAAAAAKEEEE!” when you are killed.”

“I can’t wait to play as Old Snake. So pumped!” is the simple message from zen_scientist9, who seems to sum up a lot of the hype the community are feeling right now for Solid Snake’s debut.
