The Genshin 4.3 banners will introduce the 5-Star character Navia as a playable unit and a brand new 4-Star character, Chevreuse. In phase one of 4.3, Geo-aligned Navia’s Name of the Rosula banner and a re-run of Ayaka’s The Heron’s Court banner will be the two 5-Star characters you can get.

4.3 Phase one banners

The phase one 4.3 banners will run together and will be available when the update goes live on Wednesday, December 20. The first phase Banner will run over Christmas and end on January 10. As with any Genshin update, there are plenty of new events for us to sink our time into for precious Primogem rewards. During the entirety of patch 4.3, the following events and new additions will be in the game:

  • Two new artifact sets – Songs of Days Past and Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing Woods
  • Artifact levelling optimisation.
  • Character and weapon levelling system optimisation.
  • Claim all and instant replay Expeditions.
  • Domain restart point changed to the middle letting you start closer to the action.
  • Navia’s Story Quest.
  • Genius Invokation TCG update with new characters and battle mode update.

Roses and Muskets (Fontinalia Film Festival)

During each patch, there is one main event that takes place, and this time around it is an event called Roses and Muskets. From the trailer, we’ve seen this event will feature Chiori, Furina, Chevreuse, Yoimiya, Furina, Ayaka, and Ayato, all of whom are celebrating the Fontinalia Film Festival. Expect plenty of story beats and minigames during this event.

Successfully taking part in the event will grant you the event-specific weapon called Ultimate Overlord’s Mega Magic Sword, which is a free 4-Star reward. Expect plenty of Primogems, Mora, and Crown of Insight items along the way.

Arataki Blazing Armor Beetle Battle Boot Camp

Itto’s beetle battle minigame returns in 4.3 with new enemies to face off against. We’ve seen from the 4.3 special program that this event plays out the same way, featuring a side-on view where you have to react to enemy attacks and drain the HP of your enemy to zero by landing hits.

Dance of Resolute Will

Dance of Resolute Will is another typical combat event in Genshin Impact. The more enemies you defeat, the more points you score. You need a team for each wave and you must use one character in both of the waves.

Lost Riches

Lost Riches, which is a returning event, is back one more time offering the coveted Mini Seelie that will follow your character around. As usual, you’ll have to hunt down various treasures using a map, and once you get to the end you can pick one of the Mini Seelie companions as your reward.
