Shortly before The Game Awards 2023, a rumour was doing the rounds about a new announcement from EA Originals, Electronic Arts' publishing label for smaller projects. That rumour came true with the unveiling of Tales of Kenzera: ZAU, and you can watch the debut trailer above.
Tales of Kenzera: ZAU is a side-scrolling action platformer. You play as Zau, a shaman who's out on a quest to rescue his father from the clutches of death. Inspired by the mythology of the African Bantu religion, the game is a Metroidvania adventure that combines kinetic movement, fast-paced combat, and no small amount of visual flair.

Looks really interesting! This was my favorite surprise of the show. It was also nice to hear Bayek's voice again.
Parts of the soundtrack remind me of prowlers track in spiderverse.
