Cyberpunk 2077 PS5 PS4 PlayStation

CD Projekt's live-action Cyberpunk 2077 offering won't be out until 2025 at the earliest. Not much is known about the preem project, except that it shouldn't be expected in 2024, according to the company's latest earnings call.

In the call (thanks IGN), chief commercial officer MichaΕ‚ Nowakowski was asked how the company plans to continue driving sales of the game moving forward, to which he replied: "In terms of promotional activities, there is the Ultimate Edition launching soon, but when it comes to the Cyberpunk IP we're going to be nurturing it and developing it through activities going outside of the game as well."

Nowakowski continued: "We're not really discussing specifics here, but one of the obvious things that we have announced, not happening next year, but going to be developed or moved in the direction next year, is the project we have announced with Anonymous Content."

Anonymous Content is the production company responsible for the likes of Crime & Punishment, True Detective, and Mr. Robot, and it seems like a good fit to bring the mean streets of Night City to life. We don't know whether the project will be a TV series or movie, whether it will even adapt the game or tell a separate story altogether.
