HoYoverse has confirmed the Genshin Impact 4.2 release date and the featured banners that will be available during the duration of the update. Hydro Archon Furina, the newest five-star will lead the banners in phase one alongside a new four-star character Charlotte.

Genshin Impact 4.2 release date is November 8th, 2023. This has been confirmed by HoYoverse during a video broadcast. This release date follows the typical schedule for Genshin patches, releasing in the early hours of Wednesday, November 8 in the UK.

Genshin Impact 4.2 banners – Furina, Baizhu, and Charlotte

The leaks were true and Furina has been confirmed as the featured five-star character during phase one of the 4.2 banners. In the same Banner, the new four-star character Charlotte will also be released with an increased drop rate. The second 4.2 banner in phase one will feature a re-run of Baizhu. The main event is clearly the Hydro Archon making her debut in the game as a playable character.

Phase two of the Genshin Impact 4.2 banners will feature re-runs of Cyno and Kamisato Ayato, both of whom are powerful five-star characters that have been released a few patches back. When Genshin Impact 4.2 releases, we have plenty of new things to look forward to.

Furina

Furina is the fabulous, dazzling, and somewhat clumsy Hydro Archon in Genshin Impact. Furina has been talked about for a long time and it seems likely that Furina going to be playable and obtainable during patch 4.2.

Charlotte

Charlotte is an ace reporter for the Fontaine Steambird, and she was introduced during an event in patch 3.7. As a four-star character, she will be available on the 4.2 banners with a boosted drop rate alongside two other four-star characters.
