Genshin Impact remains one of the most popular games in the world thanks to its frequent updates and continuous release of new playable heroes. We are in the dying stages of 4.1, and developer Hoyoverse has shared the new release date for when the Genshin Impact 4.2 livestream will start. We don’t have too long left to wait, and some of the new banner characters are already confirmed.
Hoyoverse’s 4.1 update for Genshin Impact has been lots of fun. The new Genshin Impact 4.2 livestream start date is November 3rd as announced on the game’s official Twitter page. It was previously scheduled for October 27th, but it has slightly been delayed to early November. You will be able to watch the special programme preview live on Twitch, and then a video will be uploaded to the game’s YouTube channel shortly after.
Typically, the livestream lasts close to an hour. It provides updates on new and returning banner characters, and it will also detail fresh events. You should watch the event so you can keep up with and redeem the new promo codes.

The start time for the Genshin Impact 4.2 livestream is 5:10 AM PT/ 8:10 ET/ 12:10 PM GMT on November 3rd. Again, this has been confirmed by the game’s Twitter. The release date for update 4.2 was originally November 8th, but there’s no word on if it’s been postponed like the special programme preview.

Banner characters
One of the new banner characters confirmed for the Genshin Impact 4.2 update is Furina. She is a new Hyrdo titled the Endless Solo of Solitude. The other new banner character confirmed for the update is Charlotte. She is Cryo dubbed Lens of Verity.
These are the new banner characters confirmed for the update by Hoyoverse. As for reruns, the often reliable SaveYourPrimos suggests we are getting a Baizhu rerun, as well as Ayato and Cyno. However, these reruns are not official unlike the new characters Furina and Charlotte.
