Proving to be an extremely lucrative tail for Square Enix, NieR: Automata is crossing over with another series full of swords and stabwounds: Naraka: Bladepoint. Characters from across the expanded NieR universe are bravely venturing into a free-to-play MMO world inspired by legends from the Far East, and we probably should have guessed it was only a matter of time.
We got an extensive and confusing cinematic trailer (above) for the crossover event, which begins on 9th August, introducing new features, events, and cosmetics. Additionally, new hero Tessa is joining the fray, and you can see a cinematic and gameplay showcase below.
