To have Chimera as a sniper support secondary, players will need to go with a damage- and range-optimized loadout. The ideal attachments for that build are the 10” SA Phoenix barrel, Cronen Mini Pro optic, D37 rear grip, .300 BLK Armor Piercing ammunition, and the 45 Round Mag.
The Best Class Setup for the Chimera Build
Ideally, Chimera’s tuning should give it better ADS and movement accuracy by controlling the recoil. But players using it in sniper rifle loadouts could prioritize damage and range in exchange for less mobility and handling.
Here’s how to tune Chimera loadout for the best performance:
- VLK LZR 7MW: ↑-0.45 → -37.76
- Lockgrip Precision-40: ↑ -0.21 → -0.19
- Ravage-10 stock: ↑ -2.06 → +1.92
- Bruen Flash grip: ↑ +0.19 → +0.35
Players using Chimera as a sniper support secondary should tune the barrel to ↑+0.16 and → -0.5. And they will need to have the rear grip tuning on ↑ -0.51 → -0.35.
The Best Perks for the Chimera Loadout
Since most players pick Chimera for their sniper loadouts’ secondary, the best perks for it are the Spotter and High Alert. But Chimera also benefits from Fast Hand, Double Time, and Ghost. As for the equipment, however, players are better off with Throwing Knives as the Lethal and Stun Grenade as the Tactical.
