Naughty Dog's Seminal Survival Horror The Last of Us Inducted into World Video Game Hall of Fame

Obviously not as important as the inclusion of Wii Sports in the video game hall of fame.

Take that PlayStation fans.

Well TLOU was the best game during the Ps3 gen by far. And TLOU was one of the best games of last gen and one of the most talked about games period. Then the TLOU Remake had probably the best set of accessibility options I've ever seen in a game. So yeah it fully deserves to be on that list.

A well deserved honor. There's no denying the immense impact TLOU had on not just Playstation, but the industry at large. As for any others...I would suggest perhaps Bloodborne? It certainly fits the "sustained popularity" part I'd say.

I'm guessing not the PC version ;p

Wait Call of Duty was put in the Hall of Fame?! Bwahhahaa

Uncharted deserves it far more than TLoU.

Anyways, congrats to Naughty Dog for creating such an amazing game.

Wii Sports and TLoU going in together means the only people who care about console wars are the fanboys.

@Uncharted2007 yes, Uncharted should be in there, alongside TLOU.

But, more importantly, Impossible Mission and Sensible World of Soccer should be in there!

@Korgon I can see them putting elden ring in there over bloodborne.

@Areus both deserve to be in there..both different games but both brilliant too.

Shouldn’t RE4 be there? And RE1 and perhaps Silent Hill. All those games had a huge impact on gaming. Quite a lot more for the list.

@Areus Not Dark Souls or Demon's Souls? Both kick-started the genre of Soulslike games. Demon's Souls was the game that created that genre and Dark Souls popularised it.

Bloodborne and Elden Ring both came around much later to be considered industry influencing and just changed up the formula slightly of a genre that had already been established with Demon's and Dark Souls.

I think this list is about that. Games considered innovative and which inspired the industry.

Now as good as Bloodborne is, more people in the industry have been inspired by Dark Souls including its dark fantasy post apocalyptic medieval world. And well Elden Ring is just From's own continuation of that. It could easily have been called Dark Souls 4.

Quite rightly so a good clicker is a dead clicker! Tv show tanked in my eyes game is perfect.

Glad they got Barbie Fashion Designer in there as well as The Last of Us. These two games will go down in history as all time greats.

With all due respect, Resident Evil should be in a hall of fame before The Last of Us. For Sony representation id have gone for one of the Gran Turismo games, perhaps GT3 A spec
