Moving Signposts is a rumor in Cassette Beasts that tasks players with standing on a series of buttons in the right order. Upon completing this task, fans will gain access to Waterloop Station, and they will need to solve two puzzles in order to access its Platform B. For those players that may be having some trouble with those puzzles, or are unclear about how they are to approach the Moving Signposts rumor in Cassette Beasts, this guide is here to help.

To note, players should unlock swim in Cassette Beasts before they attempt to address the moving signposts or Waterloop Station. For full clarity, that overworld ability can be earned by recording a Diveal in Thirstaton Lake, and it allows fans to easily navigate through previously impassable bodies of water.

Cassette Beasts: Moving Signposts Puzzle

Upon receiving Moving Signposts, players should track the rumor and navigate to the marked square on the south edge of Lakeside. Within this square, fans will find a red button, and they should stand upon it to cause a moving signpost to emerge from the ground. This signpost has a downward-pointing arrow at its top, and players should move in that exact direction to cross Thirstaton Lake and reach a red button that is situated on an elevated dirt platform.

Fans of monster collecting video games should now stand atop this second button to reveal a signpost that points to the right. As with the first moving signpost, players should travel in exactly the direction that is indicated to reach yet another button and sign. Fans must now simply repeat this process until they have ultimately revealed Waterloop Station.

Cassette Beasts: Waterloop Station Puzzle

Players will encounter a 3x3 grid of statues as soon as they enter Waterloop Station, and they should interact with these objects in this order:

  1. Bottom middle.
  2. Lift middle.
  3. Top middle.
  4. Right middle.

After completing this sequence, JRPG fans will find that all the statues are red and that a chest has been revealed. If that has not occurred, players should try again after resetting the puzzle, an action that can be performed at any time by exiting and reentering Waterloop Station. Once the player has finally made the grid red, and looted the chest, they should interact with the statues in this order to create a new pattern:

  1. Top middle.
  2. Bottom right.
  3. Bottom left.
  4. Middle.

As soon as players reach the end of this sequence, a gate in another part of Waterloop Station will be lowered. When that occurs, fans of open-world RPGs should jump into the rushing water that is ahead and allow it to carry them to the right. After traveling in this direction for a short time, players will encounter a switch, though they should not use it just yet.

Instead, fans should follow the path forward to reach three lockers. Here, players should open the locker on the right to initiate a battle in Cassette Beasts that ultimately awards the Waterloop Key. This key should then be used on the box to the right of the lockers to lower yet another gate. Once that is done, players should return to the aforementioned switch, interact with it to open Waterloop Station's Platform B, and navigate to that platform to battle an Archangel.

Cassette Beasts is available now on PC.
