New World Season 1: Fellowship and Fire has finally been released by Amazon Games and fans of the open world MMORPG are in for a treat. Aside from the addition of a Season Pass containing valuable items and cosmetics, a new story line and another expedition have been introduced as well.

With so much to look forward to, you may be wondering what else is in store with the current update. Well then, you’ve come to the right place because we’ll be taking a look at all of the content additions that’s been included with the Fellowship and Fire patch. So sit back, relax, and let’s take a look, shall we?

New World Season 1 Fellowship and Fire updates

If you don’t mind spending a little on microtransactions, then we’d naturally recommend getting the newly added Season Pass. Not only does it give you a ton of unique cosmetics and accessories, but it also grants access to the Season Journey, which is “a series of tasks and challenges that send Adventurers around Aeternum. It also enables use of the Activity Card where you’ll be able to earn XP by competing objectives.

If you’re firmly against spending money in-game, then you’ll still be able to progress through the free track of the Season Pass. Keep in mind, though, that the rewards here won’t be as rare as the ones in the premium track so you may miss out on a bunch of additional goodies.

A new seasonal story entitled “The Silver Crows” has also been introduced as part of the update. According to Amazon Games’ official release notes, your main task throughout this plot line will be to “assemble an elite team of mercenaries called the Silver Crows to help their first client, Skye the Spear-daughter.”

A new level 60+ expedition has also been added called the Empyrean Forge. Set in the Great Cleave, your main objective with this mission will be to “pursue the commanders of Sir Loth, a knight of Artorius, to stop the flow of elemental magic deep within an ancient forge.”

These are only some of the highlights of this latest update as the developer’s blog post spans more than a few pages. Those curious in finding out more about the Fellowship and Fire patch will be able to do so by heading to the official release notes page.
