A Pokemon artist has imagined human forms for Dratini, Dragonair, and Dragonite, achieving an impressive result. The Pokemon community is famously creative in pop culture, with many fans producing various fan art based on the franchise. Some fans make very different forms for Pokemon without losing sight of the original inspiration.

Dratini has one of the most interesting evolutionary lines in the Pokemon universe. While there are ferocious Dragon-type Pokemon, Dratini has an adorable, almost magical appearance. One of the original 150 Pokemon, Dratini is distinguished by its blue serpentine body with a white snout and three-pronged fins on the sides of its head. Dratini evolves into Dragonair starting at level 30, becoming an even more beautiful and elegant Pokemon. Dragonair evolves into Dragonite starting at level 55, and its appearance changes dramatically. Despite the big change, Dragonite is still an interesting Pokemon with unique lore.

Reddit user endifi created human forms for Dratini, Dragonair, and Dragonite and got a unique result. Pokemon turning into humans is not a new theme within the community, but the fan art shared by endifi catches the eye for some details. Dratini appears to be the youngest of the three, with clothes that translate well to the original Pokemon design. On the other hand, Dragonair appears as an older woman, with clothes and a look similar to Chun-Li in Street Fighter 6. Dragonite goes against its human counterparts with a more playful look and a structure on its back like a sort of kite or glider.

Other Reddit users praised the fan art posted by endifi on the official Pokemon subreddit, whose appearance can vaguely recall visuals from the Dragon Ball manga. One user praised the elegance of Dragonair's human form, which goes along with the original Pokemon look. A second user pointed out an amusing detail: to them, the human Dragonite has Chinchar's face. Another Redditor mentioned that the Dragonair that Endifi created was reminiscent of Valerie, the Fairy-type gym leader from Pokemon X and Y.

The idea of creating human forms for Pokemon sometimes has disastrous and inappropriate results, which fortunately is not the case with the fan art created by endifi. The artist explores colors and styles that can make fans remember other famous works from manga and anime. The fan art also competently translates the details that differentiate Dratini and its evolutions. The result, curiously, makes the Pokemon fan imagine the human forms of Dratini, Dragonair, and Dragonite as different people with no relation between them, although in the games, the Pokemon are part of the same evolution line.
