Call of Duty Warzone Mobile has been anticipated ever since 2022 but it is finally set to launch worldwide. The game is more Call of Duty goodness for the community, and you will be able to enjoy the bombastic battle royale action from your iOS or Android. Here is the release date and time countdown for when CoD Warzone Mobile will come out to download on iOS and Android.
Similar to the battle royale on console, Warzone Mobile is free to play. Of course, there will be optional purchases involved. It’s also important to know that there is no cross-platform multiplayer between iOS and Android with PC and consoles.
Again, the worldwide launch has been anticipated for well over a year. Fortunately, Call of Duty fans only have to wait a few hours longer as the Warzone Mobile release date and time countdown is imminent with soldiers ready to halo jump from planes to the battlefield.

The release date for Call of Duty Warzone Mobile is March 21st. It is launching on the same day for both iOS and Android devices.

When does Warzone Mobile come out?
The release time for when Call of Duty Warzone Mobile will come out is 9 AM PT/ 12 PM ET/ 4 PM GMT. These launch hours come courtesy of a countdown shared on the official WarzoneMobile Twitter account, and they should apply to both iOS and Android.
The exact second these launch hours pass, Activision is beginning a 36-hour live event streaming across YouTube and TikTok. Below is what the 36-hour live event includes:
- Day 1, March 21st: Launch Day – Celebrate the monumental launch with top creators.
- Day 2, March 22nd: Day Zero – Witness creators navigate the initial chaos and unveil the deployment zones.

Before its launch, you can pre-register on the Google Play store for Android, and you can also pre-order for iOS from the Apple store. Below are the rewards you will get for pre-registering:

Game modes
Below are listed game modes in Activision’s pre-launch blog post:
- Battle Royale: Outlast up to 120 real players in a winner-take-all fight. Eliminate, loot, repeat. Available on Verdansk.
- Mobile Royale: Faster combat, better loot, and more missions (contracts). Last Operator standing wins. Available on Verdansk.
- Rebirth Resurgence: Resurgence played across Rebirth Island. Survive to redeploy fallen teammates and earn points to return them faster.
- Mosh Pit (Multiplayer): Open up the pit! Featuring Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint and Kill Confirmed on Scrapyard, El Asilo, Hotel, Shipment, and Shoot House.
- Shoot the Ship (Multiplayer): All Shoot House. All Shipment. All the time.
According to leaks from Twitter account just4leaks2, zombies should be arriving with the game at some point post-launch.
How to download Warzone Mobile on iOS and Android
You will be able to download Call of Duty Warzone Mobile on iOS from the Apple store and Android from the Google Play store as soon the release time passes on March 21st. Below are the minimum system requirements you must meet:
- Apple: iPhone 8+ or better
- Android: Adreno 618 or better
- Android Memory: 6GB RAM or better
- Apple Memory: 4GB RAM or better
