Although the release of Diablo 4 was initially met with a ton of backlash due to the bug-filled opening day of Early Access, it seems that these problems have now largely been resolved. With players finally being able to experience the game smoothly and without major issues, most of the reactions have mainly been positive following the conclusion of the Early Access period.

Some within the community have even started creating posts on Reddit praising Blizzard for their design decisions. The well-known video game developers have often been notorious for not listening to user feedback, which has frequently led to a wide rift between them and their loyal player base.

This time, however, it seems that their tendency to ignore their fans’ suggestions has paid off. Based on the previously mentioned thread, the author noted that they’re seeing “a whole ton of really bad, cringe ideas from many players who generally dislike how D4 turned out.” This has led to them commending the direction that Blizzard has taken when it comes to creating their latest franchise installment.

The post creator would then go on to say that they “felt that this team was their A-team,” and that “it seems to be Blizzard back in their old form here.” They are still tempering their expectations, however, since the Early Access period only encompasses the opening portion of the game’s campaign.

Those commenting under the thread are largely in agreement with the author as one user even stated that they felt like they were playing D2 all over again. Hopefully, the positive reactions continue on until the full release of the game itself as it does seem like this installment is a labor of love from Blizzard.
