The Duality dungeon, one of the best sources of high-stat armor in Destiny 2, is back for a whole week, and as a cherry on top, it only takes minutes to finish the first encounter and get the loot. Being an RPG title, an integral part of Destiny 2's gameplay loop relies on farming armor pieces across all the activities in the game. While regular Legendary armor pieces are enough for every possible encounter, Artifice Armor provides additional customization options that hardcore players target and new players should strive for.

Artifice Armor was first introduced to Destiny 2 with the Master difficulty of the Grasp of Avarice dungeon. Afterward, the Master difficulty of Duality and Spire of the Watcher dungeons also followed suit with Artifice Armor offerings. Functionally, Artifice Armors have an additional mod slot over the regular Legendary counterparts. Before the build crafting changes introduced in Destiny 2: Lightfall, these extra slots could house seasonal artifact mods, provided players had enough spare affinity to equip the mods in the first place. With Lightfall changing seasonal mods into persistent unlocks, these additional slots were updated to provide a +3 bonus to any stat of the player's choosing.

The stat boost from Artifice Armors might not seem much at a glance, but with the proper distributions, players can achieve triple-hundred stat and increase the potency of their builds. Unfortunately, Master difficulty content isn't exactly a cakewalk, and players often need relatively strong characters to even successfully clear dungeons in the first place. While Master raids are a good source of Artifice Armor for a coordinated fireteam of six, most players agree that farming dungeons are a safer option, with Duality being the easiest among the three. Esoterickk, a Destiny 2 YouTuber famous for posting solo and speedrunning content, has showcased the optimal way to defeat the first boss within minutes using the new Strand subclass.

The video shows Esoterickk beginning the first encounter as usual and shooting the bell to spawn Gahlran. They then run to the arena's edge to lure the boss and trick it into attacking them, resulting in Gahlran falling off the edge. The player then grapples back onto the platform to get their loot. This glitch has been around since Strand came out, but players haven't been to farm the Master version as the dungeon wasn't available on the weekly rotator. Before Lightfall, the best way to farm Artifice Armor in Destiny 2 was by repeating the final encounter of Duality by swapping checkpoints.

Players looking for better gear to defeat Nezarec in Destiny 2's Root of Nightmares raid can use this method to farm powerful gear quickly. The video provides a short walkthrough from the beginning to the end of the first encounter to emphasize the viability of this farm, even for solo players.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
