There are a large number of FPS titles currently available in the market, but no two installments are arguably more similar than Destiny 2 and Warframe. Both of these looter shooters have long been iconic parts of the genre, which has helped each of them gain a steady and loyal following throughout the years.

However, since the core gameplay of these entries are relatively alike, fans can’t help but compare both games whenever the opportunity arises. For this reason, we’ve decided to give our own take on this everlasting argument so we can help put an end to it once and for all.
Destiny 2 vs. Warframe 2023 – which game is better?
Each of these titles have their own unique features that make them stand out from one another. Destiny 2 arguably has a more sophisticated suite of weapons and gear available for all players. On the other hand, Warframe gets rid of the looter shooter’s repetitive loop with its randomly generated levels that makes each run different from previous ones.

However, the biggest difference between the two is that Warframe is completely free to play whereas Destiny 2 requires players to purchase different expansions. The former can be accessed fully without needing to spend a single dime, which especially caters to players that are opposed to consistently buying DLCs. Bungie’s offering, although still free, limits the areas you can explore and the content you can participate in if you’re only playing through the base game.
With these factors in mind, comparing one game to the other is often futile because each creation has its own strengths and weaknesses that make it different. At the end of the day, the most important thing to consider when deciding which title is better for you is the enjoyment you get out of playing it.
