Astragon’s moreish tycoon-cum-simulation title Bus Simulator 21 will get a free update from 23rd May, extending the map and adding new activities to all platforms – including the PS5. A free next-gen upgrade will be available to all existing PS4 owners, promising improved 4K visuals, and full DualSense support.

In addition to the new content, developer StillAlive Studios will be making some major gameplay improvements, including the addition of a revamped career mode: “Instead of having to unlock everything bit by bit by completing missions, you can choose from all bus stops and bus models right from the start of the game, so that there are no limits to how far they can build up their own bus company,” the press release reads.

If you haven’t purchased the title yet, then a Gold Edition bundling the main game and all of its previously released paid DLC will be available later this year, both physically and digitally. And you won’t be left out if you already own the game: a Gold Edition Upgrade will be made available on the PS Store, so you can get all of the DLC at once if you choose to.
