The Elder Scrolls Online Update 37 is on the way, and ZeniMax is detailing some of what’s coming in the next base game update.

One of the features the ESO team is implementing with this patch is the ability to hide shoulders. This will come as a cosmetic collectible that will work similarly to the Hide Helm option. When toggled, this option will hide the shoulder gear that your character is wearing, so it will also add to the customization options that have been evolving in the Outfit Station. However, before you can do that, you'll have to get the item first. As a collectible, it will be available by spending Event Tickets at the Impresario during one of the in-game events.

There will be a number of balance changes, bug fixes, and more new features. As part of The Elder Scrolls Online’s work on accessibility improvements, Update 37 will include screen narration for most of the in-game menus.  this option will be available in all supported languages, which are currently English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese.

The narration will be computer generated, and they'll still need to work on making narration compatible with some of the existing UI elements and menus that don’t currently work with narration. It also doesn’t apply to certain gameplay, like combat, or character dialogue, so the voice acting can play. Expect the ESO team to continue working on this after the launch too.

Also coming in the patch is a series of quality of life improvements for housing. The Housing Hditor will get new filters in placement and retrieval tabs, which means a much easier experience placing items. You'll be able to place items from your  inventory, your bank, house storage, collectibles, and more categories. When you're shopping for a house, you'll see the full list of furnishings that will let you know the difference between the furnished and unfurnished versions.

You can read all the details over at The Elder Scrolls Online.
