A Pokemon Scarlet and Violet player had a frustrating encounter with several Iron Bundles, causing them to get stuck in a battle loop. The Generation 9 Ice/Water Pokemon is known as the Paradox version of Delibird, which resembles a robotic bird that's said to be created in an ancient civilization.

The Iron Bundle is considered one of the biggest RNG-heavy threats in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet because of its speed and other impressive stats. It is a Violet-exclusive Pokemon that can be found in Area Zero after unlocking it in the main story, where the Pokedex describes it as resembling a "mysterious object" in a book and that there have only been two reported sightings. While in Scarlet, its shape is likened to a robot that was featured in a paranormal magazine.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players have said that Iron Bundles can be tough to catch, but player Maleficent-Bit1761 managed to find a bunch of them at Area Zero as shared in a 30-second video. The catch was that they got stuck in a battle loop as Iron Bundles kept approaching them even after escaping safely. They captioned their Reddit post with "Stuck in purgatory" to describe their frustrating yet hilarious situation.

Many Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players shared their own experiences to being stuck in a battle loop against Iron Bundles and other Pokemon. Some wondered how this could have happened, which one explained that it was caused by eating a sandwich that boosted encounter rates. Players are said to use this to boost their chances of finding a Shiny Pokemon, but in some cases, it could cause a situation where the Pokemon will keep approaching players, which can trigger time-consuming battle phases. Nonetheless, the Iron Bundle video still brought some laughs to other Pokemon fans.

Despite the rocky start that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet had during launch due to performance issues and bugs, players seem to be enjoying the games overall. The glitches can be frustrating, but they still brought out some hilarious (and sometimes scary) moments from the games, like a biblically accurate Florges and players accidentally falling off the map.

Fortunately, Game Freak and Nintendo have been releasing updates to patch up any issues in the game and improve on the overall gameplay experience, with Update 1.2 reportedly coming this February. Hopefully the fixes, as well as the new Pokemon anime, can help boost Pokemon Scarlet and Violet sales further.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available now on Nintendo Switch.
