Dragon Ball first crossed over in Fortnite last August, introducing new items as well as Goku, Bulma, Vegeta and Beerus added to the store as playable characters.
It was a very well received event with the Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud (Kintoun) items completely changing how you can play the game. If you had either one of these in a battle you could quickly get an advantage over your opponent. Luckily, Dragon Ball is returning to Fortnite, alongside some new characters.

Here is everything we know so far:
Fortnite: Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud (Kintoun) Return
As you play through a match of Fortnite, the Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud (Kintoun) would fall from the sky in capsules, landing anywhere on the map.
The location of where they land is highlighted on your map, so you can easily go and find the items but be wary as many other players will also be aiming for these Items.
Fortnite: Dragon Ball Island
Not only are the items returning but Dragon Ball Island is also returning to Fortnite. The island was created by Vysena Studios, and is home to plenty of iconic locations from Dragon Ball including: Goku’s House, Kami’s Palace, the Room of Spirit & Time, and Beerus’ Planet.

Starting January 31 at 9 AM ET, complete one of the new Dragon Ball-themed Weekly Quests to unlock the Orange Piccolo Spray. And starting 9 AM ET on February 7, complete another Dragon Ball-themed Weekly Quest to unlock the Gohan Beast Spray.
How to Access Dragon Ball Island?
In order to access Dragon Ball Island you can either go to it from the Discover Screen or using the island code: 5642-8525-5429.
Piccolo and Son Gohan now available in Fortnite
The return of the Dragon Ball content is accompanied by some great new goodies too. This includes a Son Gohan Skin as well as a skin for Piccolo, that can be found on the item store. Both skins also have some accessories too, as listed below:

Son Gohan Accessories:
- Gohan’s Cape Back Bling (Included with the Son Gohan Outfit. Can only be used with this Outfit.)
- Gohan’s Beast Axe Pickaxe
- Reactive — surges with lightning upon hitting Weak Points.
- Capsule No. 576 Glider
Piccolo Accessories:
- Piccolo’s Cape and Turban Back Bling (Included with the Piccolo Outfit. Can only be used with this Outfit.)
- Piccolo’s Demon Symbol Back Bling (Included with the Piccolo Outfit.)

- Red Ribbon Army Aircraft Glider

When is Dragon Ball Returning to Fortnite?
This is maybe the best news of all, we really don’t have long to wait. The Dragon Ball content is coming back to Fortnite as part of the V23.30 Patch coming on the 31st of January.
