Capcom Sales

There ain't no stopping this Capcom train, it seems. In its latest financial report, the Japanese publisher reveals its ambitions to sell a record number of games this fiscal year (which lasts up until the end of March 2023). Indeed, the company's posted some serious numbers recently, with the likes of Monster Hunter Rise, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and Devil May Cry 5 selling especially well.

In total, Capcom forecasts a record-breaking 40 million game sales. It's currently up to an already impressive 29.1 million for fiscal year 22-23, but the company clearly thinks that continued sales, along with the release of the Resident Evil 4 remake in March, will push things above and beyond.

And honestly, we wouldn't bet against it happening. Assuming it's not some kind of unthinkable disaster, Resident Evil 4 is a nailed-on blockbuster, and Monster Hunter Rise is finding yet more success after its release on PlayStation platforms earlier this month.
