A new Genshin Impact chart reveals which four-star characters have missed the most consecutive banners. HoYoverse's popular action RPG runs on a very tight update schedule that keeps introducing new content every couple of weeks. Each update has two different banner cycles that feature a number of limited characters, weapons, and events.

The ongoing Genshin Impact Limited Character Banner has introduced two new additions to the playable roster, Sumeru's Dendro user Alhaitham, and the long-awaited polearm character Yaoyao. Players who want to get these characters still have a couple of days to pull for them as the current banner is scheduled to expire around February 6.

Genshin Impact's roster can be divided into two main categories, five-star, and four-star units. Even though four-stars generally have weaker kits, they are also much easier to obtain as they run on a 10-wish pity, which guarantees a four-star drop within 10 wishes. In comparison, Genshin Impact's five-star characters have a 90-wish pity meaning that some players can go 89 wishes without acquiring the desired five-star unit. Although every banner cycle includes three different four-star characters, some of these characters can go through multiple updates without a banner appearance. Reddit user RapidFresh has created an interesting chart that ranks the four-star characters by the number of consecutive updates they have missed.

At the top of the list is the Cryo claymore user Chongyun who has been part of the game since its release back in 2020. Despite being one of the oldest characters in the roster, Chongyun is still a viable support or sub-DPS unit in a lot of team compositions. In order to use him to his full potential, players should try to use this Cryo user in team comps that focus on two specific elemental reactions, Melt and Frozen.

At the moment, there are five characters that missed four updates: Collei, Fischl, Diona, Dori, and Sucrose. Collei was the first Dendro user to arrive to the game in update 3.0. She was one of the characters that introduced Travelers to the mysterious Sumeru nation that arrived in the latest major update.

Collei can work well in almost any party that needs a decent Dendro applicator, especially if players don't have Sumeru's Archon Nahida in their roster. Fischl is still one of the best four-star characters in the game due to her ability to constantly apply Electro damage with the help of her Oz, even when she leaves the field. Many consider her to be a four-star version of the popular Electro catalyst Yae Miko.

Genshin Impact is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
