Having already been delayed beyond the PC release, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide on Xbox and its seasonal content have been pushed back further. Due to some issues with the existing version of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, Fatshark has decided to take more time to fix what isn't working before prioritizing what has yet to be released.Fatshark recently made a statement regarding the delay of some Warhammer 40,000: Darktide content and the Xbox port that many fans are still anticipating. While there are still plenty of Darktide PC fans, several players have voiced concerns about bugs plaguing the Warhammer 40,000 game, lacking max-level content, rewards for Grimoires, and more. Though Fatshark has had to delay Warhammer 40,000: Darktide already in the past, the Xbox fans left waiting may still benefit from the action RPG being optimized ahead of the port.RELATED: Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 Shows Gameplay in Action-Packed TrailerAccording to a Fatshark open letter, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide on PC will be fixed over the course of the next few months based on fan feedback, specifically regarding an improved crafting system, rewarding progression loop, and bug fixes to improve game stability. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide seasonal content was set to drop in the near future, but because of all that needs to get done, Fatshark has also delayed that without a planned roadmap. Considering Fatshark posted the aforementioned announcement to their social channels, it's likely that Warhammer 40,000: Darktide fans may be notified of any updates to the release schedule.

Warhammer 40,000 fans that are anticipating premium Darktide cosmetics are among the players left waiting due to the issues impacting the game as Fatshark has also suspended that rollout. Fatshark noted that the fan comments that have already been received will "help shape" Warhammer 40,000: Darktide after the team is able to address everything, which may be a faster process now that the studio has officially paused other aspects of development. Though Fatshark didn't confirm new release dates or a Warhammer 40,000: Darktide content roadmap, the reference to a "few months" may suggest that the patches are still arriving this year.

Because the Xbox port has been delayed alongside the other Warhammer 40,000: Darktide content updates that some players were expecting, the platform should get a more optimal launch experience than PC players did. Although some Warhammer 40,000: Darktide fans may have been anticipating the premium cosmetic drops, Fatshark noted that it "couldn't continue" with the paid add-ons before first addressing "fan feedback areas."

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is available now for PC.
