A Genshin Impact chart shows that the Kamisato Ayato and Raiden Shogun double re-run managed to attract a much larger number of sales than most players might have expected. Both characters were part of the second banner cycle for the previous update 3.3 which ended a couple of days ago.

The first part of the previous Genshin Impact update introduced the long-awaited Anemo user Wanderer, who used to be one of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers that appeared in the storyline on multiple occasions. Even though there was a lot of hype around this character, it seems as though many players still opted to save up some Primogems for Ayato and Raiden Shogun.

Reddit user TimocaSamJa shows that the Raiden Shogun and Ayato double re-run became the by far most successful regular banner in the game's history, at least when it comes to revenue. However, even though the two characters managed to overtake Nahida and Yoimiya, it should be noted that this banner lasted a couple of days more compared to the previous record holder. Update 3.1, along with 3.0 and 3.2, was shortened to compensate for the three-week delay that occurred during Genshin Impact version 2.6. Many comments claim that they would never expect a banner that features two re-runs to take the top spot on the list.

It's important to mention that the data in the chart represents only iOS devices from the Chinese server which means that the overall revenue is even higher. Recent revenue reports also reveal that Raiden Shogun was responsible for the majority of these banner sales. This does not come as a surprise considering that she's probably the most popular Archon in Genshin Impact.

When it comes to her power on the field, Raiden Shogun is a very versatile character who can fit many roles in different types of team composition. Even though she is considered S-tier even at zero constellation levels, players who want to use Raiden as the main DPS should try to get her C2 Steelbreaker. This allows the Electro Archon to ignore 60% of her opponents' defense after using the Elemental Burst and during Musou Isshin State.

Ayato, the leader of the Kamisato clan, is primarily used as a main DPS, but he also has strong sub-DPS capabilities thanks to his Elemental Burst that deals Hydro damage even when he leaves the field. While he can fit many team compositions, Ayato shines the most when he's surrounded by Cryo users that can help him trigger Frozen.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
