Genshin Impact has shared details about the two new Character Cards coming to Genius Invokation TCG during the Version 3.4 update, revealing their Skills and Talent cards. The most recent Version 3.3 update saw the long-awaited introduction of Genius Invokation TCG as a permanent trading card game mode for the HoYoVerse RPG. The digital card game already features more than 20 Character Cards for players to use in their decks, including popular characters like Ayaka and Xingqiu. Now, the first update to the TCG mode is set to bring two new characters to the game.

The introduction of Genius Invokation TCG to Genshin Impact brought plenty of new in-game mechanics allowing different ways for players to duel with others. Version 3.3 introduced the Cat's Tail restaurant in Mondstadt as a hub for TCG players, offering weekly challenges against other characters, a shop to buy cards, and raid-like challenges against enemies. The TCG also features a matchmaking system for players to compete with one another online. Now, Genshin Impact's next version will add Klee and Beidou into the TCG.

A new update posted to Genshin Impact's social media accounts details the gameplay for Genius Invokation TCG's two newest characters, seeing Klee and Beidou introduced. Klee features a Normal Attack similar to other Catalyst users like Mona and Sucrose, dealing 1 Pyro damage. Her Elemental Skill, Jumpy Dumpty, deals three Pyro damage and creates an "Explosive Spark" for Klee, introducing a new Charged Attack mechanic that decreases dice costs for her attacks. Klee's Elemental Burst, Sparks 'n' Splash, deals 3 Pyro damage and creates a Summon that damages enemies when they use Skills.

Beidou operates similarly to characters like Yoimiya, focused on buffing Normal Attacks with Electro damage. Beidou's Elemental Skill, Tidecaller, grants a shield to the player's character before using their next attack, when the shield breaks to deal 2 Electro damage. Her Elemental Burst deals 3 Electro damage and grant's players the "Thunderbeast's Targe" buff, adding Electro damage to Normal Attacks and reducing incoming damage. Both characters' Talent Cards were also revealed, with Klee's granting her bonus charges of Explosive Spark and Beidou's reducing attack costs if enemies attack the shield created by Tidecaller.

Since its addition at the beginning of Version 3.3, Genius Invokation TCG has been a popular new feature for Genshin Impact fans. The TCG mode has already seen a variety of inventive fan creations, with some fans making their own real-life version of Genius Invokation TCG cards. HoYoVerse has also confirmed it intends to support Genius Invokation TCG moving forward as well, adding more cards to the game and making balance changes as needed. Genshin Impact's brand-new TCG is set to get even bigger with the release of Version 3.4 next week.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
