Blade & Soul is celebrating it's 7th anniversary soon, combining it with a New Year's celebration. The events begin on January 11th, and NCSoft has revealed details about what to expect.

The 7th anniversary event itself gets a teasing announcement, so let the speculation begin. “We’re bringing the cake you’ve all been waiting for to Jadestone Village! And we’ve invited two special guests to this party to deliver some of the presents. We’re excited for you to meet them (again)!”  Of course you can expect events, and rewarding activities to have fun with, but more details are  surely coming soon.

The month of January, aside from being the anniversary time, is also the beginning of the new year, so there is also a Happy 2023 event coming. with extra rewards. The additional goodies will be available for some activities. Another thing that is returning? Fortune’s Favor, which will see the boards of fortune back. In addition to mats, the announcement reveals that there will be a brand new pet.

Something else celebrating an anniversary? The Blade & Soul Battle Pass, which originally debuted a year ago. Season 7 will open up with this next update, and you can expect another round of rewards to collect to enhance the experience. Of course, there will continue to be a premium option to get more rewards out of the deal, but 3 players can also take advantage of the seventh Battle Pass.

Overall, Blade & Soul  seems to be looking at January as another month of events, rewards, and activities as everyone can celebrate. While there are lots more details to come over the next week, this is also part of the revamped update schedule, where major updates have been moved to every other month. December’s Dark Awakening update brought a new dungeon and lots more, so it looks like January will be a celebration month.
