New World  is holding another Steam free weekend starting today, with another round of discounts on the standard and deluxe editions. Amazon has also announced an Azoth edition of New World, with a number of additional bonuses and cosmetics, also included in the latest sale.

The free weekend is live now and runs through December 19th. So if you decide to finally give New World a shot, you can download it and play right now. The Winter Convergence Festival is going on now in case you want to take part in the holiday celebrations and get a taste of what some of the group activities could be like.

The standard and Deluxe editions of new world are also on sale at a 50% discountthrough January 5th 2023. The  Amazon games team has also just announced a brand new edition of New World, the Azoth Edition, which is also at the 50% off discount ($44.99). The Azoth Edition features everything in the deluxe edition, along with a number of additional skins, housing items, cosmetics, decoration items, emotes, and several colored dyes for clothing and armor.

There's a full list of the extra goods you can get, but they include the chest pound emote, the Celestial Hare house pet, a sarcophagus housing item, the Blunderbuss of Brimstone weapon skin, the Wicked Ways weapon set, Scorching Sand apparel skin, and the Desert Vanguard title. There's a Company crest set and a crest pack, if you have interest in creating a Company. Lots of influence from the Brimstone Sands update content, but it makes sense as a new package.

If you’re new to New World, Amazon has a FAQ on the game itself, some of the rules, and what it means to play a Steam free weekend (your characters will remain and you’ll be able to access them if you buy the game).

For full details,  read the announcement at New World.
