A hilarious Genshin Impact video shows Paimon fighting against a group of Hilichurls in the city of Mondstadt. Paimon is one of the most popular characters in the game and serves as the Traveler's loyal companion in their journey through the vast world known as Teyvat.

This fairly-like creature joins the players at the beginning of the game and tries to help them find their lost sibling. Even though she appears in almost every important quest in Genshin Impact, there is not much information about Paimon at the moment other than she's often referred to as "emergency food."

Reddit user TimocaSamJa has shared a confusing video showing Paimon fighting a bunch of Hilichurls and Abyss mages on the bridge in front of the City of Freedom. The video was apparently taken from Bilibili, a video-sharing website based in Shanghai that is very popular in Genshin Impact's Chinese community. The original footage shows Mondstadt's hero Diluc fighting to protect the city; however, the creator of the video managed to swap his character with Paimon's model. To make things even weirder, Paimon is equipped with the hilarious fish claymore known as Luxurious Sea-Lord. Even though some fans claim that the video is very disturbing, the post gathered over 800 upvotes.

Other comments jokingly claim they are happy to finally see Paimon's true power. Despite being one of the most popular characters in Genshin Impact, there is almost no information about her origin. Numerous fan-made theories have claimed that she could be one of the end-game villains. The most popular theory is probably the one claiming that Paimon could be related to the mysterious God known as Sustainer of Heavenly Principles, who appears in the game's very first cutscene.

Another Genshin Impact theory claims that Paimon could be one of the three moon sisters mentioned on a couple of occasions in the official storyline. There is not much information about these characters other than that they are over 6,000 years old. Players will probably have to wait for all seven regions to be revealed before getting more information about Paimon.

Some fans gave the character in the video the nickname Pailuc, which combines the names of the two characters. Diluc is one of the strongest characters in Mondstadt, known as the owner of the famous Dawn Winery. The official storyline confirmed that he is Keaya's older brother; however, the two do not seem to get along very well.

Genshin Impact is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
