The latest rumors suggest that Marvel's Avengers may be reaching end of life in 2023, but for now the weekly updates are still rolling out and nothing is official. Players recently gained access to a brand new playable hero and there's a lot of activity happening in the game to keep the remaining fanbase engaged and busy.
The Week #119 update to Marvel's Avengers transitions players to a new event, but also carries over some big XP bonuses to motivate players to rank up their full roster of heroes. The Cosmic Threat limited time event is back again (this time replacing the Red Room Takeover) and players can power through the event tasks to earn some nice rewards.
During the week, players will have the chance to enjoy a triple XP bonus. This means it's a great time to power up the full roster, earn any needed levels, and start stacking up powerful gear heading into the winter months. Be sure to check out the event-specific challenges to know where to focus efforts.
Weekly Updates
- It’s a double-whammy week for Triple XP bonuses! From now until Dec. 15, earn Triple XP for both the Winter Soldier and Captain America!
- The Cosmic Threat limited-time event is back in rotation, until Dec. 22! Trails of cosmic energy are popping up all over the globe, and AIM’s name is all over it. Investigate what’s causing the cosmic threat by completing event missions. This is a great way to level up our latest addition to the Avengers’ roster: the Winter Soldier!
- The Winter Soldier’s ‘White Wolf’ Outfit – a gift from his Wakandan allies T’Challa and Shuri – remains the specialty item in Shipments until Jan. 6. Shipments cost 250 Units to claim, and the specialty item is guaranteed on your 100th claim!
