Coffee Stain Studios has dropped a launch trailer to mark the release of Goat Simulator 3 today on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC via the Epic Game Store.

The trailer showcases some of the madcap physics-based sandbox fun in store for those who pick up the game, with a huge new playground that’s said to be 18 times bigger than that of the original game.

Of course, one of the other big draws this time around is the addition of 4 player co-op, meaning you and up to 3 friends can herd together – and even take part in 7 multiplayer mini games.

You’ll get to customise your goat, naturally, so you can tell them apart from your buddies – with custom Head, Back, Feet, Body, Horns and more all ripe for the changing, and over 300 gear parts to pick from.

And some of these changes aren’t just cosmetic – with some even offering unique abilities and changes to your playstyle.

There’s a quote for the launch, from Santiago Ferrero on the launch, which echoes the game’s sense of irreverent humour perfectly: “The time has come for us to ask people nicely to buy our stupid game.”

“I can’t tell you if Goat Simulator 3 is worth the money, but I can tell you we sure spent a lot making it, so toss a coin to a developer and help us out because we have so many more silly ideas we want to unleash onto the world!”

“On behalf of everyone at Coffee Stain North, we’re sorry or you’re welcome depending on what you think!”

Goat Simulator 3 is available now on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
