A Reddit user known as xCROSSEDOUTx shared an image of a tattoo that they got inspired by The Last of Us. The piece features Ellie holding a dagger, all done in an anime art style. The tattoo shows the character sporting the same clothes and hairstyle that she has in The Last of Us Part 2, with a glowing sun in the background. The work shows a vine with leaves on it wrapped around Ellie's arm, likely a reference to the tattoo that she has in the game. There is also a clicker seen in the reflection of the blade that the character is holding, adding another depth of detail to the piece.

The tattoo that xCROSSEDOUTx shared definitely has appreciative fans, with over 1,000 upvotes being placed on the post. One response declared the work as the freshest take that they have seen on The Last of Us tattoos in a while, and that it is unique and well done. Another user mentioned that it opens up the huge scope of tattoo artwork from the series other than the typically seen fern forearm piece or a portrait of The Last of Us' Joel. The piece is very well done and captures a new look at Ellie that views her in a way players have not seen very much.

It seems like xCROSSEDOUTx is not the only one who has a tattoo of Ellie from The Last of Us Part 2 on their arm. A Redditor named crossikki posted an image of ink work that they had done that features the protagonist wearing an astronaut helmet. The tattoo is black and white, and features details like a Firefly symbol on the helmet. It also captures what is a beautiful moment between Ellie and Joel in The Last of Us Part 2. Both xCROSSEDOUTx and crossikki both show how great of a medium tattoos are for celebrating franchises that gamers love and how well done they can be.

The Last of Us Part 1 is available now for the PlayStation 5 and is currently in development for PC.
