If you'd rather cuddle Kratos and Atreus instead of seeing them take on Thor, you might want to load up Sackboy: A Big Adventure on Wednesday, not God of War Ragnarok. The cutesy 3D platformer is getting three new costumes themed around the upcoming PS5, PS4 release that turns the protagonists — along with Freya - into knitted wool. They will be available in-game for free on the same day Ragnarok releases: 9th November 2022.
The three faces join a long list of characters from other games in the PS5 launch title, such as Uncharted characters Nathan Drake and Chloe Fraser, Aloy from Horizon, and Ellie and Abby of The Last of Us: Part II fame. And those are just some of the more recent additions. At this point, the game has so many costumes to pick from that there's no point sticking with the standard Sackboy anymore.

Really fun game. Hope Sony puts this on ps extra soon, so more people can enjoy it.
Yeah, I think if they're would have released it at 40$ it would have sold more. Not every game needs to be 70$.
Just feel like this game missed out massively by not having some sort of creation aspect like we've known and loved in LBP or Dreams.
It could still feel relatively new or fresh due to the community aspect and would have performed far better than that sad sorry PC release did.
This was one of the few PS5 launch games I missed out on. Will be picking it up for Black Friday.
@Americansamurai1 Sackboy was never a $70 game. Where'd you get that info from?
@NintenGuy I know it was 60 I bought it during 2020, but the point that I was making was not all games need to be release at full price.
@Americansamurai1 your post insinuates the Sackboy was $70. I bought Miles Morales, Demon's Souls and Sackboy on launch day. The only one that was full priced was Demon's Souls.

Look at your post dude. No need for mental gymnastics. It launched at a reduced price and people still didn't buy it. The interest just wasn't there. The recent Steam numbers also show interest for the game just isn't there. Like Dr Luigi said costumes are neat, but aren't going to make people buy or replay the game. I supported it and though it was a decent game in multi-player, but the price isn't why the game wasn't a hit.

@Dr_Luigi yeah Sackboy is much better multi-player, but doesn't really do anything to stand out as a platformer. Astro needs a sequel. That game is a pure joy to play.
