One aspect of Roguelites that fans love the most is the randomness of weapon and armor stats. Players may find the most OP (overpowered) weapon/armor in one run, while in the next, they get the worst stats possible. And everything changes whenever the Roguelite mixes FPS elements that add multiple weapon types like Assault Rifles, Sniper Rifles, Submachine Guns, and more.

The wide variety of weapon types is one reason why Gunfire Reborn has become so popular over the years. But, aside from weapons, players will also come across Gemini Inscriptions, which are random modifiers that vary from stats and effects. But, with so many Gemini Inscriptions, players need to know which ones are worth keeping.

Best Normal Gemini Inscriptions

Gunfire Reborn Normal Inscriptions

Normal Gemini Inscriptions (green text) are the most common modifiers players find on weapons. These modifiers usually buff weapon damage, RoF (rate of fire), magazine size, critical damage, reload time, and weapon accuracy. They are generally less powerful than most Occult Scrolls but can be helpful in the early stages of a match. Additionally, Normal Gemini Inscriptions are found on any weapon, unlike other Gemini Inscriptions that are specific for certain weapon types. Here are the best Normal Gemini Inscriptions players can find:

  • Magazine Capacity +60%: As players can expect, larger magazines mean players can shoot longer before reloading. This is also highly beneficial for some Heroes since their Ascension skills are affected by magazine size. For Example, Tao's Swords Out skill gets stronger the longer she shoots a gun, so having a larger magazine size will allow her to dish out more damage.
  • RoF +25%: This is another Normal Gemini Inscription that benefits all Heroes since higher RoF means more damage per second. But, of course, not all weapons truly benefit from this Inscription, like Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, or Launchers.
  • -40% Reload Time: Some weapons have slow reload time (Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, and Launchers), so players should aim to get this Inscription on one of those weapon types. But, of course, other weapon types (Assault Rifles and Submachine guns) also benefit from this Inscription but aren't necessary since they usually have short reload times.
  • Accuracy +80%, Stability +80%: Some weapon types (Shotguns, SMGs, and ARs) are capable of dishing out lots of damage but suffer greatly from accuracy and stability. So, having this Normal Gemini Inscription will balance out the weapon's recoil without giving up damage.
  • Weapon Auto-reloads while Unequipped: This is one of the most useful Normal Inscriptions since it allows weapons to gradually refill their magazine. But, of course, weapons that have large magazines (like the Big Hippo) will take a long time to refill completely, so it's best on weapons with small magazine sizes.
  • +25% Attack Speed: This Normal Inscription is also useful for Melee weapons, so players that like to use Qing Yan (melee-based hero) will highly benefit from using it.

Best Rare Gemini Inscriptions

Gunfire Reborn Rare Gemini Inscriptions

Aside from modifying base weapon stats, Rare Gemini Inscriptions (blue text) also alter weapon projectiles. That means players can transform a Normal Weapon into a Fire/Ice/Lightening Elemental type with the right Rare Gemini Inscription. So if a player gets their hands on a top-tier weapon they'll be able to increase its damage by altering its ammo type. Here are the best Rare Gemini Inscriptions:

  • Damage Converts into Fire/Lightning/Corrosion: This Rare Gemini Inscription only appears on non-elemental weapons. So if a player likes a normal weapon and wants to run a specific Elemental Damage (the Element Type is random), then this is the best Inscription to find.
  • Reloading After Killing an Enemy Decreases Reload Time: Players that use one-shot weapons like Shotguns and Sniper Rifles will greatly benefit from this Rare Inscription. Additionally, any leftover ammo will automatically be added to the new magazine, shortening further the Reload Time.
  • +100% Magazine Capacity, +30% Reload Time: Once again, more magazine capacity means more damage output, making this an ideal Rare Gemini Inscription. On the downside, Reload Time is increased slightly.
  • +30% Weapon Damage Against Elites and Bosses: Elites and Bosses are the most challenging enemies players will have to face while playing Gunfire Reborn, so having that extra damage is a must.
  • +100% Elemental Effect Chance: This Rare Inscription is critical for any player that wants to run a full elemental build on their hero. Unfortunately, this Inscription doesn't affect normal weapons that have been converted into an elemental type by means of an Inscription or Occult Scroll.
  • Elemental Effect Spreads to All Enemies Within 8 Meters: Another useful Rare Inscription for Elemental Builds, especially with the previous Inscription.

Best Exclusive Gemini Inscriptions

Gunfire Reborn Exclusive Gemini Inscriptions

Exclusive Gemini Inscriptions (orange text) are modifiers that mostly alter weapon handling but may also be better versions of Normal and Rare Inscriptions. These modifiers can make even the worst hero in Gunfire Reborn into an absolute powerhouse. But, they are usually weapon-type specific, so an Exclusive Shotgun Inscription will not be available on an SMG or Sniper Rifle. Here are the best Exclusive Gemini Inscriptions:

  • +65% Weapon Damage Against Enemies with Elemental Effect: This is one of the few Exclusive Gemini Inscriptions that affects all weapon types and is highly useful for Elemental Builds.
  • After Killing 5 Enemies, the Next Shot will Automatically Target an Enemy: Exclusive to SMGs and ARs, this Inscription is great for clearing hordes of enemies. But, it's useless when fighting Bosses since they are usually alone.
  • 80% Chance to Create a Corrosion/Lightening/Fire Ball on a Critical Hit: This Inscription is limited to Pistols and Sniper Rifles and can be helpful if the weapon already has a high Critical Chance. Unfortunately, the Elemental Ball only affects one enemy, but since these weapons usually Crit often, players can constantly summon Elemental Balls.

Gunfire Reborn is available now for PC, iOS, Android, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
