Skybound Games confirmed four of its games are coming to Xbox Game Pass in a new video released during the Tokyo Game Show. Xbox Game Pass continues to add and remove games to the popular service, but this announcement from SkyBound Games also confirms that an upcoming title will be a day one release on the service after having just been announced earlier this week. Three of the four games announced to be coming to Xbox Game Pass are coming to the service later this year, while the day one release title does not have a release date.

Skybound Games is the developer and publisher of the last two episodes of the popular The Walking Dead: The Final Season game, so it's no surprise that one of the titles announced to be coming to Xbox Game Pass this year is The Walking Dead: The Final Season. Skybound Games took over that project after the previous developer, TellTale Games', sudden shutdown in 2018.

Besides The Walking Dead: The Final Season, three other titles were confirmed to be coming to the popular Xbox Game Pass in the announcement video published on YouTube by the official Xbox account. Two of the other titles are Rainbow Billy: The Curse of the Leviathan and The Big Con. Both of these games are smaller, indie games, something that Skybound Games is familiar with, that received a positive reception upon their original releases. In addition, the game that is coming day one to Xbox Game Pass is Homestead Arcana, a farming life simulator game. A release date for the title has not been announced.

While Homestead Arcana does not have a release date, having another game available day one on Xbox Game Pass is a win for the majority of gamers. The other three titles will fit in just fine on the service, as well, given how well indie games seem to do on the service. The critically acclaimed Immortality came to Game Pass in August. There are also titles such as Goat Simulator that have seen a rise in popularity since appearing on the service. Beyond indie games, a lot of AAA games are also in development that are heading to Game Pass, such as the upcoming Soulslike Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty from Team Ninja.

With this announcement, it's clear that Microsoft has its eyes set on bringing as many diverse titles to Xbox Game Pass as possible. While Xbox Game Pass updates its library of titles fairly often, the service has allowed subscribers to try new titles that they may not have tried in the past. This might be the chance for gamers to experience a lot of indie titles that did not reach as big of an audience originally.
