A Red Dead Redemption 2 player recently posted a photo on Reddit of an interesting bug that caused a hogtied enemy to suddenly burst into a pile of guns. This is hardly the first glitch that players have found in Red Dead Redemption 2. In fact, it isn't even the most impactful. When the title was first released, gamers were experiencing issues when traveling in certain zones, or else spontaneously dying/losing items. But NPCs turning into weapons is definitely one of the most unique bugs yet.

Fans of Red Dead Redemption have discovered many details in-game, but most of them are supposed to be there. It isn't often that gamers discover such prominent bugs and glitches, especially not ones that are so distinct and odd.

Reddit user Tumble85 recently posted a photo on the Red Dead Redemption 2 subreddit that shows a pile of guns on the ground. The guns are arranged in the vague shape of a man, with more than fifty littering the ground in total. The guns, all of which are Cattlemen revolvers, are some of the most useful weapons in Red Dead Redemption 2. Players have been quick to comment about the odd glitch, noting the value of the guns and the strangeness of their presence. Of course, it's always possible that this image is a hoax, and so fans should keep that in mind.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has seen many updates since it was originally released, and while gamers can live with the occasional bug, it is weird to see such an extreme deviation from Red Dead's gameplay. Red Dead Redemption 2 is a story-heavy game that focuses on Arthur's adventures with the Van Der Linde gang, and so players spend a lot of time exploring the world and traveling in-game. For that reason, gamers have come to expect smooth gameplay from the open world RPG and Rockstar has tried to deliver it. Clearly, however, the odd issue still impacts Red Dead's gameplay.

Of course, the Red Dead 2 bugs aren't really a priority for Rockstar. Indeed, Rockstar has moved on from Red Dead and other projects in order to pursue development on one of its most anticipated game to date, Grand Theft Auto 6. For that reason, fans shouldn't expect any major overhauls to Red Dead Redemption 2 in the near future. Fortunately, as demonstrated by Tumble85's post, some of the glitches are funny or harmless. In addition to Red Dead's incredible gameplay, story, and multiplayer features, gamers have plenty of content to experience for the years to come.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
