An Elden Ring player has shared a clip featuring a funny 2-on-1 encounter in PvP. Like the Dark Souls games, Elden Ring lets users fight with and against other players. Gamers can use this feature to tackle challenging bosses in co-op or test out their builds against human opponents.

Since its release, Elden Ring fans have figured out creative ways of defeating the host during an invasion. Some try to sneak up on their enemies while others want to take part in 1 on 1 fights. Invaders will sometimes find themselves facing off against two opponents, but one clip proves that having greater numbers doesn’t always work out in the host’s favor.

A Reddit user named MichaelMurder has shared a clip of them invading another player in Elden Ring. The host has summoned a partner, so the invasion turns into a 2-on-1 battle. Fans will notice that MichaelMurder is fighting without any armor or weapons, so they will have a light equipment load for better rolling animations. MichaelMurder dodges the first few attacks, switches to the Throwing Dagger consumable item, and starts throwing them at the host and their partner.

It’s hilarious to watch the invader dodge their enemies’ moves while constantly throwing daggers at every opportune moment. The daggers do decent damage, so MichaelMurder slowly chips away at their health. After a while, the host and their partner realize that they are not landing any of their attacks and decide to hilariously run away from the invader. MichaelMurder follows after them and kills both players as they desperately try to climb a ladder.

The comments section is filled with users talking about how the host turned around and ran the other way after failing to hit the invader multiple times. Some fans also discuss the best tactics players use while invading others in Elden Ring. It looks like baiting enemies and luring them to an advantageous area is a popular strategy. Furthermore, fans seem to agree that climbing the ladder was the wrong move, and some people think that the host is not an experienced player.

Elden Ring’s PvP encounters often result in similarly funny clips. As an example, one user highlights a brilliant use of the Mimic's Veil item when invading another fan. In the video, the invader parries the host’s attack and defeats them with a follow-up move. They immediately use the Mimic's Veil, which turns into a gravestone as a mark of the opponent’s death.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
