The release of Sumeru, the Land of Wisdom that’s ruled under the verdict of Lesser Lord Kusanali, brought forth many new secrets to be uncovered in Genshin Impact. Among these exciting secrets, players can uncover hidden quests and confusing puzzles, like the Billboard Puzzle in Sumeru City.
While exploring the City of Sumeru, it’s possible that Travelers stumbled upon a Bulletin Board that’s located near the Adventurer’s Guild. This board seems to hold a secret code that leads to a Genshin Impact chest location, as well as a hidden Achievement. This particular Achievement grants players five Primogems.
How To Solve Sumeru City Billboard Puzzle In Genshin Impact
To solve the Sumeru City Billboard Puzzle in Genshin Impact, Travelers must decode five Riddle Notes until they finally meet the person responsible for the messages. To reach the Bulletin Board, travel to the Sumeru City Teleport Waypoint located northeast of Yazadaha Pool.
First Riddle Note
Upon investigating the Billboard, the first riddle will be revealed: “In the light of alternating day cycles, one can see the homeward figure of the beacon on the bridge.” Here, the Adventurer’s Guild Branch Master Kamal will ask the players if they’re interested in solving Drusus’s riddle in Genshin Impact.
To get to the first location, turn southwest from the Adventurer’s Guild and glide down to the docks below. Underneath the platform where the two NPCs are talking, Halva and Shahbandar, there will be a small wooden box in the water; interact with it to get the next riddle.
Second Riddle Note
The second note reads, “A mirror not made of glass reflects every drama.” To solve it, fast travel to the same Teleport Waypoint and head up the slope, then go left upon seeing Mawyo, a Freelancer. Follow the path, then enter a tunnel to reach the Grand Bazaar. In the lake on the left, another small box can be seen that contains the third riddle.
Third Riddle Note
This note is small compared to the previous Riddle notes, as it reads, “The sole path to knowledge.” Go to the Teleport Waypoint north of Chinvat Ravine and proceed up to the Akademiya. Keep going until players enter the House of Daena. Beneath the bridge is a Genshin Impact Chest that holds the fourth Riddle Note.
Fourth Riddle Note
The second to last riddle is “The flower in the pond are blooming, with watery pearls there lingering.” Head to the Teleport Waypoint next to the Sanctuary of Surasthana and glide down south to the pond underneath. As usual, a small wooden box will be there that contains the final note.
Fifth Riddle Note
This one is more of an invitation than a riddle, as it says, “Please go to the front door of the Temple of Knowledge at noon.” Open the clock option and change the time to 12 in the afternoon, then head to the previous Waypoint. Climb the slope to the sanctuary to finally meet Drusus near the railings.
The researcher will congratulate the Travelers and give them:
- Hero’s Wits x3
- Adventurer EXP x150
- Mora x20.000
As well as the “I’ve Got It! I’ve Got It!” Achievement in Genshin Impact that rewards Primogems.
