Tower of Fantasy has been out for just a couple of weeks, but  new expansion content is already on the horizon. During Gamescom, publisher Level Infinite and the developer, Hotta Studio, unveiled Vera, the new area and expansion that will be arriving in the fall.

The upcoming expansion content will introduce Vera and Mirroria. The official description tells of the desert and the mirror city that is suspended in mid-air.

“The environment is dominated by the desert Gobby, and the overall climate is hot and dry. Due to the failure of its local Vera Tower of Fantasy after the Cataclysm, its space-time dimension cannot be calibrated on the main Plane, nor can it obtain a stable supply of original energy.

The intensity of the original energy radiation in the area is gradually decreasing, except for some heavily polluted areas. Although most of the surface environment can be used for human activities, the majority of people in Vera live in the "Mirroria".”

The trailer mentions epic mounts, legendary world bosses, and shows a glimpse of the shiny cyberpunk adventure hub of Mirror City. All of this looks to bring the next phase of the content and story into the game when it launches.

There’s no release window for this content, but it will be coming, and with the success the game has had since launch, it may not come soon enough. Tower of Fantasy recently marked 10 million downloads, notching chart positions in various countries around the world.

Releases on Steam and the Epic Games Store are also on the way, but for now, the post-launch events are still on, there are rewards to be earned, and some more new content coming even sooner. The ToF team also recently introduced a new playable character, the soldier Frigg, who will be released September 1st.
