Few games can claim such a dedicated cult following as Stardew Valley. The simulation RPG was developed by a single person known as ConcernedApe, who invested four years into creating an incredibly complex experience with a lot of heart. It should come as no surprise then that ConcernedApe's next game, Haunted Chocolatier, already has an audience that's very excited about every newly announced detail. ConcernedApe is more than happy to tantalize these Haunted Chocolatier fans, like with a newly released screenshot. The Twitter post in question was shared by ConcernedApe Sunday afternoon. For a lot of games and fanbases, a screenshot wouldn't prompt much of a reaction. But for Haunted Chocolatier, it was exactly what the fanbase wanted. The screenshot shows what fans assumed is a Haunted Chocolatier boss enemy. It's a large bee with a big stinger, large green eyes, and cute little ears. The boss arena is in a honeycombed nest with small eggs around the arena's walls.RELATED: ConcernedApe Confirms One Stardew Valley Feature That Will Return in Haunted ChocolatierReplies to the Twitter post are full of fun reactions from fans of Stardew Valley and those looking forward to Haunted Chocolatier. There are silly comparisons to bee enemies in other games, questions regarding how combat will work, and plenty of general adoration for the ConcernedApe's work, in general. That's part of what being in the Stardew Valley community is all about, which is just shared enjoyment of games that they love.

While a single screenshot would have been enough for those looking forward to Haunted Chocolatier, ConcernedApe was generous and had more to share. Shortly after posting the screenshot, ConcernedApe also released a new music track that accompanies the bee boss fight. It's an upbeat tune with a lot of charm that sounds a lot like a Stardew Valley track, so it's receiving as much of a positive reception as the screenshot is.

A big part of the reason why fans are excited about a screenshot and a music track is how little regarding Haunted Chocolatier has been shared online so far. That's not a surprise, of course. When ConcernedApe announced Haunted Chocolatier, they confirmed it wouldn't be ready "for a while yet." That's not going to make fans any less excited to hear more about it, though.

There's no schedule going forward for when ConcernedApe will share more information regarding Haunted Chocolatier. What this screenshot does do is show ConcernedApe remains hard at work bringing HauntedChocolatier to life, and all fans of Stardew Valley and Haunted Chocolatier can do is wait patiently and appreciate what's shared.

Haunted Chocolatier is in development for PC.
