Coffee Stain Studios are gearing up to release the follow-up to their absurdly popular physics playground game in the form of Goat Simulator 3.

That’s not a typo, by the way. Yes, in keeping with the irreverent humour the series is famous for, they’re skipping Goat Simulator 2 and going straight to the next number in the series.

Here’s what else we know about Goat Simulator 3 so far.

Goat Simulator 3 – release date and limited editions

Goat Simulator 3 has currently got a release date set for November 17 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.

The game will be available in a couple of editions. Joining the standard game is the Digital Downgrade Edition and the limited Goat in a Box Edition.

The Digital Downgrade Edition will include the game & its soundtrack and the ‘Pre-Udder’ gear. It’ll also include a host of “remastered content” from the original Goat Simulator and its many DLCs.

Meanwhile the Goat in a Box Edition includes that, but also a Goat Plushie, a Steelbook, some Postcards, a double-sided poster and a custom box.

One of the major features of the new game is the addition of multiplayer. The game will support local and online co-op with up to four players, allowing you to run riot around its open world.

There’s also a collection of seven fun multiplayer minigames, such as the Rocket League-like sport of Hoofball.

There’ll also be a bunch of custom skins, cosmetics and more to dress your goat up as. These even include the appearance of other animals, like pigs and more.

We’re expecting to see the first gameplay of Goat Simulator 3 at this year’s Gamescom. Geoff Keighley has confirmed it’ll be a part of Opening Night Live on Tuesday, August 23.

We’ll update with the newest info on Goat Simulator 3 as and when we get it.
