The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is one of the best reviewed games for the Nintendo Switch. The open world game innovated in a number of ways while still feeling like a Zelda title. Fans have been displaying their love for Breath of the Wild for years in a variety of ways, showing just how beloved it is.

One way that gamers have celebrated Breath of the Wild is through art. This includes drawings featuring the various characters from the game, sometimes placing them in situations that some would not expect, like giving Zelda a gun.

An artist on Twitter named HarxMLeth posted a piece of art they drew that shows Zelda with a double-barrel shotgun. The image shows the character loading a round into the firearm, with smoke coming out of the muzzle of the weapon. Next to her is one of Breath of the Wild's Koroks floating with a leaf, which seems to have a look of shock on its face. The piece is very interesting in that it is definitely not a situation one would expect Zelda to be in.

HarxMLeth's drawing has become quite popular, as it has over 6,000 retweets and 48,000 likes. One commenter stated that Zelda is prepared for Ganon this time, while one said that this is how she held back the villain for so long. A user mentioned that the gun will teach people the difference between Link and Zelda, while another joked that the firearm will be a mod added into Breath of the Wild. One gamer complimented the work, saying that the piece warms their heart.

HarxMLeth is just one artist out of many creating artwork based off of Nintendo's RPG. A Redditor known as sydstitch created a piece of embroidery featuring Lover's Pond from Breath of the Wild. However, when Link looks into the landmark in her work, the protagonist does not see Wabbin and Perda as he does in the game. Instead, he sees all of his friends illuminated in the water, which likely reflects the feelings that the hero has for them. According to sydstitch, they made the grass in their art out of tulle and the water out of organza, which helps to give it a bit of depth. The embroidery is quite beautiful and captures what would be a precious moment in the game.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is available now for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U.
