Hungry for more Hogwarts Legacy, Potter fans? Today, we got a brief cinematic snippet and some screenshots showing off character creation, which looks suitably in-depth and expansive.
The cinematic cutscene was shown off during an online tech event. Software company Autodesk was hosting the Autodesk Vision Series, and one of the presentations showed how Hokgwarts Legacy's cinematics was realised.
In addition, the company demonstrated some of the tools used in the character creation process and gave us a small, but tantalising look at the in-game character creation screen, with Reddit user AndrewGamez1 grabbing some screenshots. Dark Academia fans will be feasting well with this one!
While Hogwarts Legacy does not have a firm release date, just a Holiday 2022 release window, 6th December has been floated as a possible release date, because of a tie-in art book we reported on previously.

I really hope this turns out to be a great game. However, I do feel a bit worried it predates everything we know about the franchise.

@Northern_munkey lol I personally donāt have a clue what this is about, I donāt keep up with media news in any way shape or form but Iām a little intrigued whatās itās about? So is this controversy anything to do with the game being supposedly bad? From what Iāve seen it looks great; I like the HP movies but Iām not a big fan I just find them cozy to watch in the holidays which is what I hope this game captures, that gloomy aesthetic of hog warts.

The more I see of Hogwarts, the more Iām pleasantly surprised with how well put together it looks. I cannot wait for more concrete details of a release date and honestly am very much looking forward to playing it.
I hope this turns out to be a great game, and that the developers have done justice to the incredible fiction that J K Rowling created.

This game just looks fantastic. Might be one of the few games we actually buy new at release. Always happy to support those making great single player narrative focused content.

@Perryg92 Hokgwarts Legacy is the Tencent wizarding mobile game we always wanted! I heard it has a great Harry Potter-like vibe.
Issues around Harry Potter? What could possibly be wrong with the Harry Potter universe. Great books and movie series. Anyways this game looks promising but I always wait to buy a game these days.

@Lup Character creator looks really fleshed out indeed! Can't wait to get my hands on the game.

Oh ok, yeah I donāt get about stuff like that people are free to believe what they want, I just hope itās as good as it looks. All the way down to able to play the sports game they play at hogwarts. @Crumbytweak no lol nothing related to the game just people angry at the author of the books the game looks great & although I'm not the biggest Harry potter geek I have seen all the movies (the main ones not the ones that aren't about Harry potter) so I'll be looking forward to exploring Hogwarts
