Amazon Games has announced that Medleyfaire has landed in its signature MMORPG New World. During the event, players will be able to learn about the new musical trade skill that allows players to collect or craft five musical instruments, including guitar, mandolin, upright bass, drums, and Azoth flute. Using the instruments will begin thanks to a special set of song pages and starter instruments earned by completing the initial Medleyfaire quest line. More complex songs will require finding and assembling pages found throughout the game world. Better and more robust instruments can be crafted.
The benefit of learning a musical instrument and collecting song pages is the ability of players to buff themselves and other party members:
- Decidedly Dexterous: Gathering speed increases by 75% for 30-90min.
- Territorial Triumph: Territory standing bonus increases by 10%-30% for 30-90min.
- All Together Now: Group character XP sharing bonus increases by 4%-15% for 30-90min.
- Song in your Step: Reduces player encumbrance by 20-100 for 30-90min.
- Fortune’s Favor: Gathering yield increases by 3%-10% for 30-90min.
- Luck’s Labor: Gathering luck increases by 2% – 5% for 30-90min.
The update also features new Expedition mutators, enhancements, and the new group finder tool. Players will also be thrilled to hear that loot tables have been rebalanced, the mutator loot shift has been applied, improvements have been made to instanced wars, perks have been rebalanced, loot quality has been improved, bonus loot drops are live, perfect salvage is available, and much more.
